UPC Renewables a leading renewable energy developer and marketer is expanding into Indonesia, and is currently seeking highly motivated entry level candidates for a part or full-time Wind Development Associate position in our Jogjakarta office. This challenging position will provide administrative, light book keeping, public relations and research support to the Wind Development Team while allowing the person hired the opportunity to participate and advance in the fast growing renewable energy sector.

Job Function :
  • Participate and carry out development works of the Bantul Wind Farm Project 
  • Interface with the government, public and stakeholders in the Project Site 
  • Project correspondence, reporting and administration 
Responsibilities of the Position Include : 
  • Perform Public Relations both at the field office and in the field 
  • Give tours of the project site 
  • Assist at public meetings 
  • Teach the public about wind power 
  • Record and report monthly cash flow for office operation 
  • Perform expenses disbursements for daily operation 
  • Manage services and activities for office operations 
  • Perform other support activities necessary for project development purposes 
  • Process land agreements, prepare landowner correspondence, reports and other documents 
  • Maintain project databases and file system 
  • Translate documents 
  • Use mapping software for research 
  • Assist with local contracting 
  • Support development and in future engineering staff as requested 
Core Requirements / Competencies : 
  • Excellent English/Indonesian language skills mandatory 
  • University Degree 
  • Quick learner 
  • Experience relevant in accounting and daily office operation/ administration helpful 
  • High proficiency in MS Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point)required 
  • Experience in contracting will be an advantage 
  • Real estate contract knowledge and land title experience an advantage 
  • Experience with legal contracts a benefit 
  • Excellent organizational skills 
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple changing tasks 
  • Strong interpersonal skills 
  • Excellent communication skills, personable, team player 
  • Highly motivated and self-starter 
Beneficial Skills / Competencies : 
  • Computer skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook) skills are necessary 
  • Mapping and GIS (Quatum GIS / ArcGIS / AutoCAD Map) Program knowledge will be a definite plus but will teach this simple program 
  • Able to operate hand held GPS equipment a plus
